November Update

A surprisingly busy November which is great, so glad you are all able to make time for some last minute winter sun, with some reporting lovely weather in Spain. I have supported the British Army with a recent training camp to Thailand.
We will be running into a maintenance period soon, I look forward to having all the boxes back for them to be worked on ready for a bigger and better year next year.
Seeing as Mallorca was such a popular destination I have written a blog below.
Mallorca, a Spanish island in the Mediterranean, offers diverse landscapes, challenging climbs, and scenic coastal routes, making it a favorite among cyclists. Here are some aspects to consider for cycling in Mallorca in November:
- Weather: November in Mallorca is considered part of the autumn season. The weather is generally mild, with cooler temperatures than the summer months. Average temperatures during the day can range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius (59 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit). While it's not as hot as the summer, it's still pleasant for cycling.
- Crowds: November is considered the shoulder season, meaning there are fewer tourists compared to the summer months. This can be an advantage for cyclists, as roads and popular cycling routes may be less crowded.
- Terrain: Mallorca offers a variety of terrain, from flat plains to challenging mountain climbs. The Tramuntana mountain range on the northwest side of the island is particularly famous among cyclists for its winding roads and stunning views.
- Events: Check for any cycling events or races happening on the island during November. Mallorca often hosts cycling events that attract participants from around the world.
- Equipment: While the weather is generally mild, it's a good idea to bring layers as temperatures can vary, especially in the mountains. Also, make sure your bike is in good condition, and consider renting a bike if you're not traveling with your own.
- Daylight Hours: Keep in mind that daylight hours are shorter in November, so plan your rides accordingly. It's a good idea to start early to make the most of the available daylight.
Remember to check for any travel restrictions or guidelines, and consider local COVID-19 protocols that may be in place. Always prioritize safety and enjoy the beautiful scenery that Mallorca has to offer.
All the best!
